I'm new to crochet but I really want to make a few of these for my D&D party. How do you suggest making the round portion of the bottle bigger?
The pattern is already designed to hold d20s, but if your chosen yarn or your tension are making a smaller bottle than you’d like, I suggest a couple of things. 1) Use a combination of an extra strand of yarn and a larger hook, or 2) Just use a 0.5mm larger hook.
You may find that using just a larger hook by itself will result in a bottle that doesn’t stand up on its own very well, though. Just be aware of that!
