PATTERN DELIVERY DATE: June 28th or earlier
PROJECT DUE DATE: July 5th or earlier, referred to as “The Deadline” below
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Beginner or higher
TIME TO COMPLETE: 1hr or less per candle

MATERIALS: 3.5mm Hook Battery Operated Tea Light (REQUIRED) Yarn – #4/Worsted Weight
— Minimum 25yds each; larger candles use more Hot Glue (Optional) Stuffing (Optional)

HOW WILL TESTERS BE CHOSEN?

I am looking for neat stitches, even tension, and quality photos. I am not concerned with your follower count!
Photos should have neutral backgrounds, bright natural lighting, and be clear and focused. I will be browsing your Instagram account(s) in search of these good quality images that will best highlight the pattern for me.

HOW WILL TESTERS BE CHOSEN?

Chosen testers will be notified via email. Please make sure to provide the email address you check most often so you don’t miss it! Add admin@thepointedhat.net to your safe list so my emails don’t end up in your spam folder. If you do not receive an email by the pattern delivery date (June 9th, 2025), it means you have not been selected. Maybe next time!

The following items should be completed by The Deadline.

• Make at least one (1) candle of each size (small, med, large) using the pattern as written.
• Provide good quality photos of your finished product in clear, bright lighting (No flash, please!).
• If possible, provide a photo in dim lighting of the candle with the tea light turned on.
• Communicate with ThePointedHat regarding pattern quality, readability, difficulty level, etc. while working on the pattern.
• Provide a written review with photo(s) for this pattern on ThePointedHat.net/shop.
I will provide a URL for the listing as soon as it’s posted.

IF YOU NEED TO BUY TEA LIGHTS – Please read and check all boxes *

I have read and understand the guidelines regarding tea light purchases.
I understand that I must complete ALL pattern requirements before I will be reimbursed for my candle purchase.

If you need to purchase tea lights in order to complete this test, I am willing to reimburse you for the cost of said tea lights as long as the following conditions are met:

• Tea lights MUST be battery operated only. No wax tea lights with open flames.
• Please do not purchase remote controlled tea lights if possible.
• Pack of tea lights must cost less than $10.00 USD after sales tax.
• Tester must provide a photo/scan of their receipt to ThePointedHat via email ASAP.
• Tea lights must be in their own transaction. Please do not purchase other items in the same transaction as the tea lights.
• Your receipt cannot show any other items than the required tea lights.
• If your tea light purchase total comes to more than $10 after tax, you will only receive $10 in total for your reimbursement.
• Reimbursements will be sent out via PayPal Goods & Services only.
• Testers who wait longer than 30 days to submit their receipt will forfeit any reimbursement.
• Testers will not receive reimbursement until AFTER ALL REQUIREMENTS ARE COMPLETED.
