FREE Crochet Pattern: Beatles Blanket Graph Chart

Hey, friends! Are any of you fans of The Beatles? Chances are, if you’re here, the answer is yes! If that’s the case, check out this crochet pattern I’m offering to you guys — for FREE!

See, my dad is a HUGE Beatles fan. He has so much memorabilia already, it was ridiculously hard to think of what to gift him for Christmas that he didn’t already have. That’s when I decided to make this blanket just for him! Then he was guaranteed to have something unique, that couldn’t be bought on a big box store shelf. I was a nervous wreck the entire time I was making it: What if Dad thought it was a lame Christmas present? Thankfully, though, he absolutely LOVED it, and promptly sent pictures out to all of his friends to brag.

The numbered rows, and high contrast colors used in the chart make it easy to follow, even for beginners! All you need to know how to do is a simple Single Crochet stitch and you’re all set!

Please keep in mind, though, that this pattern is FREE and should not be resold or used for commercial purposes!

  1. I’m excited to try this blanket. Can you tell me what size hook, yarn weight, and gauge? And do you know how much yarn you used?

    Thank you

    1. Hi there! I used a 6mm hook for better drape, and worsted/4 weight yarn. It was the Walmart Mainstays brand, which was surprisingly soft! I live out in the sticks and we don’t have a single craft store here, so the Walmart yarn was all I could get! lol.

It’s been a couple of years since I made this, but I recall I needed approximately 3 jumbo skeins for the base color (I used black), so about 2,000yds. And for the accent color (white for me), it was something like 1,000yds. But I did carry my accent color along with the base color, and so that will affect the yardage some.

I hope this was useful for you, and please let me know if you have any further questions. I’m happy to help! 🙂
